When do you need a paste rather than grease or some other form of lubricant?
When you’re dealing with high loads, severe duty environments, temperature extremes and low to moderate speed operating conditions.
While they are suitable for many industrial applications, including slides, guides and tracks. Anti-seize pastes are the product of choice for controlling friction and wear in threaded connections. Unlike conventional greases, these pastes contain high levels of lubricating solids, plus a carrier oil that delivers those solids to the point where lubrication is required. Even if the carrier is squeezed out under load or evaporates, the solids form a thin, durable lubricating layer that helps protect contacting metal surfaces from friction and wear by keeping them apart.
