We are a growing Specialty Chemical Distribution company based in The Netherlands, with 16 branches (independent distributors) in Europe, looking for talented professional to join our Business Development team.

The Company: DGE is a pure player dedicated to marketing and distributing premium specialty chemicals finished products for industrial applications throughout more than 27 European countries. Our group of companies partner Top Specialty Chemical industry players (Dow, DuPont, Chemours, Huntsman…), with whom we strongly collaborate to offer the most suitable solutions for our customers in a wide range of market segments (Automotive, Railway, Energy, Mechanical engineering, F&B…)

The Position: We’re looking for a Business Development Manager for our Specialty lubricant division. Reporting to the General Manager, you will have to

• Generate growth Opportunities in the selected segments and applications
• Coordinate Market segment development activities across the countries covered by DGE
• Support and monitor local implementation and sales performance at the local branches
• Support x-border Key Account management.
• With our Marcom team, define required tools to support our commercial efforts
• After a ramp-up period, we expect you to be able to work together with local teams and main lubricant suppliers to define and implement mid-term Business plans

Requirements:

• Industrial or Chemical Engineering Master degree
• Fully competent in English and in at least another European language (preferably German)
• 5+ years’ experience in industrial environments, in Sales or Business Development functions
• Good communication skills and team-working spirit.
• Highly autonomous and with entrepreneurial spirit
• Willingness to travel (> 50% of your time)

The Location: DGE has branches in some of the most active cities in Europe. You will be based home office, but we expect you to be close to one of our main Offices located in Frankfurt, Milan, Lyon, Amsterdam, Barcelona or Wien.
