    • Molykote® 111 Compound: Silicone with an inert thickener, compatible with many elastomers. It serves as a lubricant and non-curing sealant with a wide service temperature range.
  • Bearing Seal and Seal Groove (to Hold Seal): 
    • Molykote® Cu-7439 Plus High-Temperature Copper Paste: Copper solid lubricants in oil, exhibiting excellent adhesion to metals and resistance to extreme heat, high loads, and corrosive conditions. 
  • Seal Sliding Surfaces, Seal Ring: 
    • Molykote® D 321 R Dry Film Lubricant and Spray: Solid lubricants in solvent-resin form, air-drying to a bonded lubricant film, unaffected by dirt and contaminants. 
  • Shaft and Stem: 
    • Molykote® U-n Lubricant Paste: Solid lubricants in PAG oil, providing good compatibility with rubber and serving as an anti-friction coating for extreme heat under heavy loads.
    • Molykote® 106 Anti-Friction Coating: Solid lubricants in solvent-resin, offering high load-carrying capacity and heat curing to a bonded film. 
    • Molykote® 3402C LF Anti-Friction Coating: Solid lubricants in an organic solvent-binder, resisting high pressures and wear while protecting against corrosion. 
  • Ball Surface: 
    • Molykote® G Paste: Solid lubricants in mineral oil, preventing seizure, scoring, suppressing stick-slip, and corrosion with high-pressure absorption capacity.
  • Bearings (Bearing Wear Surfaces): 
    • Molykote® 33 Extreme Low-Temperature Bearing Grease, Light: Silicone oil with lithium soap thickener, offering low torque for extreme-cold startups, a wide service temperature range, and resistance to oxidation, moisture, and corrosive atmospheres. 
  • Threaded Connections (Studs, Bolts, Yoke Nut, Screws): 
    • Molykote® Anti-Friction Coatings: Solid lubricants in a solvent-resin system, applied to clean, dry assembly parts with air- and heat-curing options for long-term, dry-film lubrication. 
    • Molykote® Anti-Seize Pastes: Solid lubricants in synthetic/mineral oil, field-applied with aerosol options, resisting water washout and corrosion, aiding non-destructive assembly and disassembly. 
  • Body Seat: 
    • Molykote® D 321 R Dry Film Lubricant and Spray: Solid lubricants in solvent-resin, air-drying to a bonded lubricant film, remaining unaffected by dirt and contaminants. 

 

In addressing a real-world application, gate valves commonly employed to block or restrict the flow of raw or processed materials faced challenges. A mineral oil-based grease, exposed to harsh pipeline materials, hardened and caused difficult valve operation, leading to material leakage past the valve seat and seals.
