Krytox™ 240 AC Performance Lubricant

Krytox™ 240 AC grease is based on perfluoropolyether oils (PFPE). These synthetic fluorinated lubricants are used in extreme conditions, such as continuous high temperatures up to 300 ° C (572 ° F) and higher temperatures for shorter periods, depending on the product grade limits. Chemically inert and safe to use around hazardous chemicals, these lubricants are non-flammable and safe for use in oxygen service.

In the aerospace industry, Krytox™ 240AC grease is applied in various configurations, from bearings and sealants to O-rings and oxygen systems. Krytox is a valuable asset to the aerospace industry due to its superior performance over a wide range of temperatures ranging from 70 to 399ºC (-100 to 750ºF). Additionally, it is robust in harsh environments and has excellent friction properties, allowing it to resist changes in properties over time, providing increased wear and lower power consumption.
