AX Food Grade Penetrating Oil is a premium quality, high-performance penetrating oil for use in food-processing, beverage bottling, pharmaceutical production and packaging facilities that fall under the scrutiny of the USDA or FDA. JAX Food Grade Penetrating Oil gives an outstanding performance where regulations will not allow the use of ordinary industrial lubricants.

Product benefits

JAX Food-Grade Penetrating Oil is formulated with the same active ingredients and wetting agents as our “America’s Finest” formulation. The difference is that the base oil and additives are FDA-authorized and the product carries a USDA H1 Food Grade rating. This allows the food or beverage processor to apply this product while the equipment is in operation. It is suitable for incidental food contact, which means that it is odorless, tasteless, and will not alter the integrity of the finished product.

Applications

JAX Food Grade Penetrating Oil is a very desirable product for use in industries other than food processing as well, such as the hospitality or health care industries, where the odor from use of a non-H1 lubricant could work its way into HVAC systems and spread from room to room. Additionally, this product makes an excellent spray-down oil due to its high percentage of rust inhibitor. After high-pressure or steam cleaning of sanitary machinery or equipment, an application of JAX Food Grade Penetrating Oil will eliminate the chance of flash rust before the next shift or process. It is important to remember that this is an H1 product and is not designed for direct contact with food or beverage. Good manufacturing processes need to be followed.
